We got to know each other through participation in plays like Nicodemus and The Christmas Carol, membership in the Goforth Fellowship, shared musical interests, and service in the Shining Stars summer program.

Most of our courtship was squeezed into a spring semester that was quite busy for both of us, but when the summer came, we were able to spend some extended time in Iowa with Daniel’s family and in South Africa with Hannah’s family.

After a day at Table Mountain, we headed to Melkbosstrand, where we took a very important walk….

We’ve been rather difficult to separate since!
